Day 1 - September 6 - Prompts! You will have seven days to put as many prompts as you'd like on this post. And if you start writing them early, well that's just good planning!
Day 8 - September 13 - Prompting ends, posting begins! You have 14 days to write, draw, and potentially diorama as many prompts as you can. Cross-posting to the anonymous AO3 collection is allowed.
Day 19 - September 24 - This is the cut-off day for prompters to reply to any questions about their prompt. Unanswered questions are considered enthusiastic agreement.
Day 21 - September 26 - Last day of posting! All fills must be posted by 11:59 PM North American Mountain Time.
Day 22 - September 27 - Party time! The reveals post goes up, and you now have the option of going unanon in whatever manner you please. The AO3 collection will be de-anoned, and will remain open indefinitely for unanon cross-posting.

Rules

For the purposes of this fest, the prompts themselves are considered warnings. If you have issues with this policy, we recommend either not participating or using Dreamwidth blocker.

MOST IMPORTANT RULE: Comments posted unanon will be deleted. This doesn't mean you aren't welcome here! If you'd like the content of your comment back, contact us at the Admin post.

For Prompters and Readers

1. Subject lines should include the game, characters and/or pairing you want. Feel free to be as descriptive as you'd like. Warnings aren't required, but they also aren't banned.
2. You don't have to write or draw. It's anon, and we aren't going to stalk you.
3. Do not comment on other people's prompts to try and change pairings or characters. Post your own version with the characters you want instead.
4. If you fail to respond to a 'is this okay?' kind of question about any of your prompts by the 19th day, it'll be taken as an enthusiastic yes, no matter what the question is.
5. There are no subject bans. You may prompt anything you want.
6. If you don't want to answer questions, say so. That will work as blanket permission for anything people might want to do with your prompt.
7. New Spoiler Policy! Any prompts related to the Trespasser DLC must have SPOILER in the comment header.

For Artists and Writers

1. No claiming prompts, please, as multiple fills are welcome!
2. Minimum wordcount per fill is 100 words.
3. All content is allowed and all warnings are optional, but if you want to write or draw extreme kinks** for a prompt that doesn’t specifically request them, you have ask the prompter first.
4. If the artist requests it, the mods will repost art fills as an embedded picture in a reply to their comment. NSFW art will be labelled as such in the subject line by re-posting mods. Art involving underaged characters in porn situations will not be re-posted as an embed.
5. New Spoiler Policy! Any fills for Trespasser DLC-related prompts must keep the prompt's SPOILER warning in the comment header. Do not include Trespasser DLC spoilers in your fill unless the prompt is about Trespasser, or unless the prompter says it's okay.

** "extreme kinks" for the purposes of this exchange include but are not necessarily limited to: extreme underage, major character death, scat/watersports/emetophilia, extreme gore, and bestiality. Please use reasonable discretion, and ask a mod if you have any questions!

For Everyone

This is a Choose Not to Warn fest. At no point will any comment be deleted for failure to warn of its content in the subject lines. They will be deleted for rampaging dickery and failure to follow the rules.

I'd like to see something with a bitter and/or angry Lavellan who maintained Celene on the throne because they knew about how she burned down an alienage, and delighted in the idea of having power over her.

...because Varric is not at all fond of Sebastian, and that makes me sad. I would absolutely love to read anything exploring their relationship, or lack of one! Do they ever get along? What about a mission fic in which they have to work together to save Hawke or someone? Or just talking about archery or whatever. I always thought Varric didn't hate Sebastian, they just didn't connect - maybe a story that fixes it.

(Also, since I kinda ship them - Varric/Sebastian would be lovely too, although definitely not a requirement. "He was just so nice and thus wouldn't bang me" is something I can never unthink from that Blackwall & Varric dialogue).

Inquisitor/Iron Bull - sub drop

So researching BDSM relationships, I came across the phenomenon of sub drop, which can sometimes happen a few hours or even days after play. So I want to see an Inquisitor who experiences sub drop for the first time away from Iron Bull - maybe in the middle of a mission or a conversation or something. Hurt/comfort ensues!

Any Inquisitor is welcome, though my personal preference is m!mage!Lavellan.

Fic where characters play a MMORPG together are my guilty pleasure. Anything on that theme would be awesome! Something not unlike The Guild would be very welcome. The most obvious thing would be to have the companions of one of the games play together, but feel free to do whatever!

Varric/Hawke - the doomed timeline

Varric/Hawke, set during the doomed year in the In Hushed Whispers quest. Whether Varric was with the Inquisitor (and thus injected with red lyrium in the prisons) or wasn't (and so is free to be at Hawke's side) is up to you.

(I strongly prefer f!Hawke, and that's what I'd most like to see in this, but I'm certainly not going to stop anyone from writing a m!Hawke if that's their preference.)

So I had these two in my party pretty much all the time, and I really love their banter. They got on like cats and dogs at first, but there was a growing respect and friendship as time went on even if they didn't see eye to eye on all things. Would Solas see Bull as someone safe with whom he could to slake his lust? Or would emotions eventually intrude and get in the way of his plans?

Would especially love to see something post Trespasser.

Cullen/Solas - Very Rough Sex

A fighting exercise threatens to unleash not just a carnal lust, but the bloodlust, the desire to hurt and maime that Cullen so carefully keeps hidden. Later, Solas knows just were to poke to make it hurt, just how to twist a reaction out of Cullen, and he lashes out, eyes transfixed by the blood that wells from the split in Solas' lip, the way his teeth turn red with his feral smile, so different from the circle mages that Cullen is used to. It is a smile full of promise, and Cullen is lost to it.

Any - Accidental (Baby) Animal Acquisition

Something where someone gets a mabari pup, or a cat, or even a dragonling that doesn't want to eat everyone's face. (Can you imagine everyone reaction to the Inquisition having a dragon?). Trespasser Spoilers - Abelas/Male Lavellan

After the Inquisition is disbanded, Abelas unexpectedly finds himself hesitantly welcomed among the remaining inner circle members in pursuit of their goal to show Solas the world was still worth saving. Abelas isn't so sure of that himself at times, but he's proven wrong by a tenacious Lavellan.

The truth of the anchor isn't as simple as no one but Solas could wield it for long and live. The anchor marked Lavellan as Solas' in a way that no vallaslin could ever hope to match. The anchor had attached itself to Lavellan's soul, not just his skin. Will Lavellan agree to price to save himself (sex with Solas and being tied to him for eternity)?

Basically I want to see Lavellan as Solas' unintentional slave. Make it as angsty or not as you'd like.
