Whether it's your first read or your millionth, there's always something worth talking about--and rambling at length about at that. Confide in your fellow Lackey fans--who's your fave? What books do you eat up with a spoon? Does Vanyel end up as a gay Companion after the Mage Storms books? Or is he reborn as the very subtle baby herald "Vanel"? If so, does that make Stef his life-bonded companion "Tylenol", or what? And is Ma'ar REALLY dead? (No!)

Mornelithe and I have been considering having a free-for-all, not-super-organized filling grace period in December (so people could go back and fill prompts from Valdemar, Thedas, etc). We haven't talked about what to do with unfilled prompts yet but we'll let you know when we have.... I agree it'd be a shame to let some of these ideas fall by the wayside, so the main things we'd want to consider are whether post-fest fills can still go in the AO3 collection, whether we'd want things linked on the main post or the reveals post, etc.

(Post-fest, we're still not going to allow logged-in comments on the main post because it goes against the kink meme aesthetic, but anons will be able to ID themselves and link to reposts on their AO3 accounts, etc. Logged-in posting will be totally cool on the reveals post, and ppl can share what they prompted, filled, commented, etc as much or as little as they want)

We're not going to make any rule like "because this prompt was not filled within these three weeks, you can never ever use this idea in a fic!!!!" hahaha

If anyone has ideas about how they'd like to see this go, feel free to chime in & we'll take things under consideration.

I feel like free-for-all wouldn't work because the fandoms are of such disparate sizes. Any Valdemar stuff would get drowned.

My suggestion would be to just let people continue to post fills in the AO3 collection, as that's an easy enough place for people to look out for them.

We're currently leaning towards keeping the AO3 collection open indefinitely, and if people want they can even come back and drop a link off in the main post under the prompt. We'll just screen any new fic that gets posted directly on the comm :)
