I've been spending some time with the parallels (and how Stef is written with 'Lendel's karma and being a counterbalance to the mistakes of 'Lendel's life -- No family at all, bears p. much the same name as Tylendel's twin, has to live through something similar when Vanyel begins acting toward him as 'Lendel had to Vanyel for similar reasons, has to live on after Vanyel's death for the sake of the greater good even though Stef isn't a Herald, because Lendel should have lived for the greater good instead of for personal things...) and I'm just so excited lately about all these messy things in Lendel as a result sob.
